At band class today, we had a test. Yesterday there was a few people (all girls) that went to a concert so they were excused from having the test. However two of those girls had chose to try the test. I didn't go to the concert for I did not want to stay away from my music for an extra 5 hours. This is my second year of playing the flute as well so the flute I have is not as good as the professional ones.
Plus playing the low C
Yesterday my teacher, before she left; gave us the concert B flat major, E flat major, and C harmonic minor. We had to play the scale, Arpeggios, and Thirds for them.
She picked the scales at random for us to play. I got the C harmonic minor. She gave us a choice of playing the top or bottom. I took a stab at the bottom one. And for doing so, she gave me extra points and for being able to play the low C.
After school, it was raining and by the time my group of friends (and me) got to Ben & Jerry's I was soaked.(Well at least my shoes were) I tried Ben & Jerry's for the first time and loved the ice cream! I had chocolate therapy.
When I was on the train I saw my sixth grade teacher and we talked. (L=Me) (ML=the teacher)
ML: Hi *waves*
L: Hi.
ML: You're still so tall.
L: No! (Thinking: That's just cause you're so fuckin short!!)
I opened my laptop and watched "Corpse Bride." Let me tell you, it was adorable, cute, amazing, awesome, freaky-ish, and beautiful! The movie is a must see!
